Probability for repetition of Iran’s championship at this year’s contests is very high, he said.

Some 35 talented children out of 323 genius youths are to be sent to Malaysia to attend the international event, he said.

Last year completion was held in South Africa where the Iranian team ranked first among countries in the Middle East region, he said.

These talented children are from different provinces, he said.

Talented youths from Taiwan, Thailand, Canada, Hong Kong, US, South Africa, Vietnams, South Korea, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Australia, India, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, UAE, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Tajikistan, Yemen and the Islamic Republic of Iran will attend at the international competition.

Iran has offered to host the 2019 PAMA Global Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Championships and in case to be accepted it will be held in Tehran, he said.
